- From Garden State Parkway North/Route 80 East
Exit onto Route 80 East and follow directions from Route 80 below.
- From Garden State Parkway South/Route 4 East
Exit onto Route 4 East. Take 4 East to Grand Avenue (North) Englewood exit. At end of ramp, turn right. Go one block and turn right again onto Grand Avenue. Proceed north on Grand Avenue (a one way street) for about one mile. Just after you pass the Benzel-Busch Mercedes dealership (on both sides of the street) you will see the red brick building on the right side of the street on the south-east corner of Palisades Avenue (the main shopping street in Englewood). Arts Horizons is located over Starr Carpets in this corner building. The entrance is on 1 Grand Avenue, just south of the corner. Our buzzer is on the right--walk up to second floor. Metered parking is available on the street and meters do not need to be fed after 6:00 pm.
- From New Jersey Turnpike/Route 80
BE SURE TO TAKE LOCAL LANE. Exit at Exit 71 (Broad Avenue, Leonia, Englewood). Bear right at the end of the ramp onto Broad Avenue (North). Drive 1.2 miles (Broad Avenue becomes Dana Place on the way) to T-junction and turn left into Palisades Avenue. Go through one light. Continue straight down Palisades Avenue, past the Presbyterian Church and Dwight Place on the left. At the traffic light, you will see a red brick building on the left side of the street on the south-east corner of Palisades Avenue. Arts Horizons is located over Starr Carpets in this corner building. After you have parked, walk down the hill and turn left onto Grand Avenue. The entrance is on the left side of the street at 1 Grand Avenue, just south of the corner. Our buzzer is on the right--walk up to second floor. - From George Washington Bridge (via Palisades Parkway)
Take Upper level of GWB and take first exit, Palisades Parkway. Take Exit # 1 off parkway (Englewood). At end of ramp, bear right. Go straight over traffic light and straight down Palisades Avenue. After about a mile, you will come to two traffic lights very close together. Continue straight down Palisades Avenue, past the Presbyterian Church and Dwight Place on the left. At the traffic light, you will see a red brick building on the right side of the street on the south-east corner of Palisades Avenue. Arts Horizons is located over Starr Carpets in this corner building. After you have parked, walk down the hill and turn left onto Grand Avenue. Take either the Upper or Lower Level and follow signs for Route 4 West. On Route 4, take the first Grand Avenue/Englewood exit (the next exit after Jones Road). Proceed north on Grand Avenue (a one way street) for about one mile. By public transportation, from New York City
- From the Port Authority Bus Station at 42nd Street
Take the 166 or 20 bus from the Port Authority. Follow directions below.*
- Via the George Washington Bus Terminal on 175th Street
Take the A train North to 175th Street. Walk underground, following signs to the George Washington Bus Terminal. Take the 178, 14 or 84 bus. Follow directions below *.
From any of these buses, ask the driver to let you off at the stop on Grand Avenue in Englewood just before the Palisades Avenue intersection Watch for Mercedes showrooms on both sides of the street - if you do not see these showrooms you have not gone far enough (see notes below). Once you have alighted from the bus, walk in the same direction as the bus was moving.
You will be on Grand Avenue and will pass several small stores on the right. Shortly, you will reach #1 Grand Avenue. Buzz up to Suite 7. Notes:
- If the bus driver tells you to get off on Grand Avenue near Route 4, this is a long way from our office. Wait for another bus and tell him to let you off at the corner of Palisades Avenue.
- If the bus takes you across the Grand/Palisades intersection, Grand Avenue becomes Engle Street. Get off at the first stop after the intersection and walk back. Cross over the intersection to the Starr Carpets store at the corner of Grand and Palisades. Walk past Starr Carpets and you will see 1 Grand Avenue almost immediately on your left.
