Festival Percussion offers (in the words of its audiences) an ?imaginative and highly informative? program that ?delights students and teachers? with its ?fresh presentation.? With four carloads of instruments as resources, the group explores the discipline of Bach, the joy of the Ragtime Era, the excitement of popular music, and the propulsive beat of the marching band.

Students not only learn how to make their own percussion instruments, but also are invited to play these instruments with the group. Even a quartet of paper bags becomes a feast for the imagination. Band students from your school may also sit in with the Festival Percussion musicians.
