Native American Storytellers

Donna Couteau Cross and Joe Cross perform a program of storytelling, song, and traditional dance that aids students in learning about the lives and culture of the Native American people past and present. Through an interactive performance featuring coyote tales, creation stories and historic folklore, tribal family values are demonstrated, as are the special relationships the Native American people have with the Earth and their natural environment.

The presenters are tribally enrolled members of the Caddo/Potawatomi and Sac and Fox Nations.
