The Seventh Principle Performance company combines body percussion, foot stomping rhythms and step dance moves from the streets of South Africa, and the streets of America. Drill team, stepping, marching band, and fraternity / sorority dance teams use "stepping" as a means of expression that has its roots in African - American traditions, but has become a unique part of American culture. Learn about polyrhythm, improvisation, basic music vocabulary, and history in a hands- on, interactive learning experience.
