Support the Zoo

The Houston Zoo Fund

The Houston Zoo Fund provides crucial, unrestricted dollars to support our animal care, education programs, and wildlife conservation efforts. As a non-profit organization, the Zoo depends on contributions from donors like you to help ensure continued success so that we may deliver the best possible Zoo to our region. Your support will make a significant impact for one of Houston’s naturally wild treasures.

Donor Clubs

Flock

The Zoo's donor club for young professionals encourages involvement for those aged 21 and up.  With an annual membership donation of $150, Flock members are invited to three "wild" mixers each year and receive invitations to special partner events.  Funds raised support the care and feeding of animals, international and local conservation projects and innovative educational programs.

Ambassadors

This is a growing group of young professionals and philanthropists who are actively seeking opportunities to connect and engage with the Zoo's mission.  Annual memberships are $250 for an individual and $500 for a couple, and include exclusive invitations to galas, cocktail receptions and family events at the Zoo.  Connect with the Zoo and learn more about the Zoo's conservation, education and animal care programs.

Asante Society

The Zoo's upper-level giving society is exclusively for donors who contribute a minimum of $1,200 annually.  Membership in the Asante Society includes a number of special benefits, including behind-the-scenes tours of the Zoo and invitations to private parties and family events.

Conservation

The Houston Zoo is a leader in animal conservation efforts locally and around the world.
