WFUV Radio 'Strike-A-Chord Campaign' Spotlights AH

WFUV 90.7 radio is a Rock and Roots Station aired locally from Fordham University in the Bronx.  Through their 'Strike a Chord Campaign' WFUV brings important issues into focus and supports community organizations who are doing good work in the NY metropolitan area.

This quarter, the 'Strike a Chord Campaign' recognizes unique arts in healthcare programs and has selected Arts Horizons program, ArtBeat, as the first feature spotlight!

ArtBeat, is a unique partnership between Arts Horizons, NYC Hospitals, and the NYC Department of Education.   Through music education workshops, ArtBeat brings arts-rich, safe, creative educational and emotionally uplifting environments for young students who are hospitalized for extended periods of time.

ArtBeat has been adopted by two sites as part of the Comprehensive Evaluation plan, which establishes and assesses specific goals and indicators of progress to support student rehabilitation and learning.

Tune into WFUV Radio station at 90.7 to hear the PSA on Arts Horizons programs. To see our spotlight on WFUV's website follow the Strike-A-Chord link.
